A Brief History
Thank you for checking out this web page; I hope it helps you in your search for a qualified therapist who can meet your needs at this time.
I have a background in education as well as Speech Pathology and Audiology from CSU Chico, and a graduate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the former California Family Study Center (now Phillips Graduate Institute).
In between leaving Chico State and attending graduate school, I lived and worked in another country, substitute taught, worked in the outdoor industry, and had my share of retail jobs. By the time I settled on therapy as a career, I was very clear that was what I wanted.
After attending Cal Fam, I accrued valuable intern hours in order to move towards state testing and a license. I also got married and started a family.
A few years later I finished the licensing process through interning in a wonderful non-profit (Jewish Family Service of Ventura Co.) and here I am.
This is a brief and consolidated look at my background.
